Best Wordpress Contact Form Plugins
If you use Wordpress for your blog or site - and a lot of people do - you want the best plugins you can get. That's especially true when it comes to letting people contact you. You want to make sure they can reach you quickly and easily, and you want to know where they're coming from so you can better adjust your marketing and advertising efforts to reach your target market.
With that in mind, choosing the right contact plugin can be difficult. There are many good ones. However, if you take the time to look at the features of each one and really think about what you need from the plugin, you should be able to make the right choice for your site.
Tiny Contact Form
One of the simplest plugins to use with Wordpress is the Tiny Contact Form. It's just one simple command that you can put in any post or page - and you can also add the widget to your sidebar. This makes it ultra convenient because you don't have to worry about a lot of code or complexity of commands. The convenience of being able to have it 'always on' in the sidebar and still put it into posts and pages also makes it very valuable. That way, your customers don't have to hunt around for a button or link to contact you. It's right there at their fingertips.
Visitor Contact Forms
If you want something a little more complex, there are Visitor Contact Forms you can create. Key features of that kind of form include geocaching, Skype status, a Twitter follow option, Auto Responder, Google Maps and Captcha Spam Protection. You get a lot for very little work with this type of contact form, and you can choose what kind of form you want to set up, so that it's more tailored for your business.
Wordpress-to-lead
Also, consider Wordpress-to-lead, which integrates your Wordpress installs and your CRM. You can do more with your contacts and other information that way, but the plugin is also more complex. It essentially takes out human error by compiling all user information for you.
By considering what you need for your business and what you'll actually use, you can make choices that will be the best for your business and your blog/website. Customers will like what you have to offer, and you can stay in touch with them through the contact information you collect - and depending on the purpose of your site, you'll also have a "lead generator" of interested users.
Keep in mind that some customers aren't going to be interested in giving too much information up front, so tailor your contact form accordingly to draw in more people without making them feel like they're jumping through hoops to engage with you and others.
