20 Firefox Addons that Every Webmaster Needs to Have
Webmasters have long been in love with Firefox. With the seemingly infinite number addons available, it is easily the most functional browser available. With so many different addons to choose from, it is imperative that you limit yourself to only the most important. Unfortunately, with so many choices, this can seem like a daunting task.
Here are my 20 Must Have Firefox Addons for Webmasters:
1. Firebug
Firebug is one of the most well known Firefox addons for web developers. It offers a variety of development tools all in one place. You can edit, debug, and monitor HTML, CSS, and even JavaScript. Many developers would argue that Firebug is one of the most complete addons available. If you are only to have a few addons, then Firebug is a must.
2. Web Developer
Web Developer offers a variety of different web developer tools all in one place. One of the best aspects of web developer is that you can see how your CSS would alter your webpage in real time without actually modifying your CSS.
3. Greasemonkey
Greasemonkey allows you to customize your webpages by inserting tiny pieces of JavaScript. While there were initially some problems with the most recent version of Firefox, this addon is updated frequently.
4. Page Speed
Page Speed is a tiny addon that helps you to track the performance of your web pages as well as offering common suggestions for improvement. It runs several different tests based upon current best practices to track and enhance your pages performance.
5. Yslow
Yslow is another addon that analyzes your web pages and suggests improvements that could enhance your sites performance. It can be easily integrated with Firebug, and provides a wealth of data. It can offer suggestions, summarize page components, display page stats, and provides access to additional tools for performance analysis such as Smush.it and JSLint.
6. User Agent Switcher
User Agent Switcher adds an additional menu and toolbar which allows you to switch the user agent of your browser. It is commonly used for websites that for some reason are not compatible with Firefox. There are additional uses as well, especially with mobile websites.

MeasureIt ff addon
one of the addons that i often use and is not on this list is this tiny addon: MeasureIt. I lets you select part of a page with ruler to find out dimension in pixels. Very useful it can be.

excellent collection
This is excellent collection. I use some of them already, those widely popular like firebug, page speed and validators. Now I might try google global and keyword spy, they seem promising and interesting. there is so much good ff plugins, but is not good to use a lot of them because ff gets raelly slow then. especially with heavy ones like firebug and greasemonkey.
